Flash is pictured below, as a yearling at the 1995 BCOA National Specialty. Flash won 14 points, 3 majors in conformation, owner handled. Flash won 8 points, 2 majors in AKC lure coursing. On August 9, 1996 he was in the front yard with 2 other dogs. We found him laying there, alive, but not moving. He had a spinal cord injury & was totally paralyzed. His injury was probably caused by running into a tree, but we'll never know. Being told by the specialist that there was no hope of his recovering, and having to euthanize him, was one of the worse moments of my life. He was a beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament.
