Zig won two 5 point majors, and completed his American Championship shortly after his third birthday. He was a multiple Best Of Breed winner over specials, in the U.S. and in Canada, owner-handled. Zig scored in the 190s in obedience. Zig became Steve's favorite dog. Zig got Steve interested in handling our dogs in conformation. Zig was willing to chase the plastic lure, but with few coursing trials in the Midwest, it was not possible to complete a title. Zig was smart and knew not to chase our cats, horses and cows. We enjoyed living with Zig for over 12 years.
