Spirit was from a litter of 3.  Brother Am/Can CH Sirhan Tytianko Of Windrift, a Best In Show winner in Canada, was owned by Audrey Benbow (Sirhan).  Their sire was also owed by Audrey Benbow.  Sirhan Wilolea Teryoshka had several wins in Canada and the United States, but was injured before he could finish any titles.  Both CH Windrift Kindred Spirit and his dam, were American Champions, but were never shown in Canada.  In 1981, CH Windrift Kindred Spirit was awarded Best of Breed at the BCOA National Specialty.  Spirit was a group placer.   Spirit was always owner handled.  Spirit produced 25 American Champions, several Canadian Champions, 16 ASFA Field Champions, & 5 Lure Coursers of Merit.   He is likely the top sire of ASFA Field Champions.  Spirit never competed in lure coursing, due to lack of trials in the Midwest in the late 70s.  Spirit got along well with other dogs, and passed this trait on to his offspring, many of whom loved to chase the plastic lure, and did so nicely with other dogs.  Spirit was a house dog, living with the Reimers two young daughters.
