Maverick went to his first show and won a 4 point major from the 12-18 month class. Maverick went to his second show February 10, 2007 and won a 3 point major. Maverick finished August 18, 2007. He won the points at the majority of the shows he was at. He was always owner handled by KC. First weekend out as a special, Maverick won Best Opposite Sex, over 31 males, at the Midwest Borzoi Club Specialty November 17, 2007. Maverick has a good work ethic & is willing to perform obedience & rally exercises. We do keep the training sessions short, and fun, with lots of praise and treats. At the 2010 BCOA National Specialty, Maverick qualified in the novice obedience class and competed in lure coursing, the triathlon and Best of Breed.
