JR won his class at several specialties.  He placed in a large American-Bred class at the 1998 BCOA national specialty.  Along with his litterbrother and half-sister, JR helped his sire win a placement in the stud dog class at the 1998 BCOA national specialty.  JR finished with a 5 point major at a BCOA supported show.   Except for a two point win, he was always owner handled.  Eleven year old JR passed away April 13, 2006.
